Chicago Google Technology User Group (#ChiGTUG) is proud to present Android development workshops and hackathon. We are lucky here in Chicago to have a very vibrant community of Android phone developers, in big part due to presence of major corporations like Google, Motorola and IBM as well as many entrepreneurs.

Hackathon guidelines:
- Application will be developed for Android platform
- Teams can consist of any number of participants
- Development can start early, but Application should NOT be available publicly before the start of the hackathon
- Optional eco-challenge: anything related to solar, wind, wave, bio-fuels, recycling, green movement social apps, global warming (think Google maps), science tools and many many other ideas
- At the end of hackathon each team will present in 15-30 minutes:
- functioning application
- brief business plan
- technical solutions
- team members introduction
- explanation how the application fits into the competition's categories
